Why we have to invest in Karanataka? What did this BJP government has done for the welfare of the minorities? Our property & life is at stake in Karnataka especially Mangalore considering the current situation all the minorities in Gulf (they are in large numbers) will not consider to invest in Karnataka unless the law & order has maintained and also welfare & security of minorities are considered and minorities regain the confidence in BJP Government ( it will be a dream)

Karnataka has become one of the most costliest states in India. Prices are going up - people are not bothered. Land values is coming down. Corruption is at its highest. In every department the officers are trying to make quick money. Even farmers and land owners are having big problem. I wonder when people will stand up and revolt against such issues?

Dear Capt.some years back mr.kumarswamy came to Abudhabi & promised a lot of things.Every time some one is going to the Gulf countries, enjoy our hospitality, eat nice food, have nice drinks, get handsome donations, look at the clean & wide roads,go for a nice drive, but after returning they forget all promises. How can you expect Investments, when you have no proper roads to drive.Your roads are filled with plenty of garbage which is not cleared for ages. How can you expect Tourist where there are no public clean toilets, where there is no entertainment in our hotels,no lights on the streets,no current in our schools & colleges.

From all these comments it is obvious that there is a sense of hatred from the general public towards the BJP policies in Karnataka. They have got the displeasure of all communities. Hope this displeasure is translated into NO votes for BJP

Dear Karnik, thank you very much for giving a call to kannadigas to invest in Karnataka. But I feel now life in Karnataka is not safe. Life and property of the people are not safe under present Government. Please bring confidence in the publi then surely money will flow from NREs for investment

Ranganath, Bangalore. I was expecting a lot more from BJP. "If there is a will there is a way". You said the disturbances in and around Mangalore were politically motivated. May be it is ... even then the govt. should have taken the stringent action on all those who were involved. Did they... big NO.

That shows this govt. didn't have the will... They have already succeeded in creating divide in the society based on religion. I don't think nowadays anybody trusts even their own neighbors. Who is responsible for this...? Any answers

Agreed with all the people. Life in Karnataks especially DK has gone from worse to hell especially after BJP govt has come to power. This could be politically motivated. High time something is done about this. Karnataka has and will always lack a strong political party.JD(s) is corrupt, BJP is communal. So i guess only choice is Congress.

First get rid of MORAL POLICE in Karnataka and then talk about investment. Few NRI's are cancelling their idea of settling down in Karnataka, you are talking about investment!

Captain...unless Karnataka rises above the present turmoil of law and order system, I dont think I will even look at Karnataka for any investment. I am better off investing our hard earned money elsewhere where there is value to: Democracy, human beings, law and order and investment.
