Sri Ram Sene Chief Muthalik Banned from Mangalore

Sri Ram Sene Chief Muthalik Banned from Mangalore

TIMESOFINDIA.COM

Mangalore, Mar 16:
A Mangalore court on Monday banned Sri Ram Sene chief Pramod Muthalik from entering Dakshina Kannada district for one year. Muthalik's Ram Sene was involved in an attack in a Mangalore pub in January, 2009.

An official spokesperson said district administration of Dakshina Kannada passed a 15-page order citing various reasons, including an attack on young women in a Mangalore pub in January and Valentine's Day threat, to bar Muthalik's entry to the district,

Mangalore is the headquarters of Dakshina Kannada district.

The order by district magistrate V Ponnuraj came into effect immediately, the spokesperson said by phone from Mangalore.

A group of 40 activists of the Sri Ram Sene barged into a pub in Mangalore and bashed up a group of young women and men, claiming the women were violating traditional Indian values.

Muthalik had also threatened to disrupt Valentine's Day celebrations.

Nagesh Nayak, Your leader L.K. Advani is real pseudo secularist, when he went to Pakistan he praised Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Even if he will be PM of India, he will not hang Afzal Guru because he don't want to loose some votes.

Muthalik has been banned in DK District. This is commendable on the part of the authorities. Attack on women in unacceptable in any civilized society and we need to oppose it tooth and nail. Attacking religious places is nothing but sacrilege and has to be condemned in the strongest possible terms. But there is more than what meets the eye here. Why does the ugly head of “communalism” spring up at regular intervals? Is it not because enough fodder is provided for it to foster? There is a serious evil called “conversion” or “Proselytization’ which is rampantly being pursued with a vengeance in the coastal belt.

The Catholic community has never indulged in this. It is the new entrants like the “New Life” , “Pentecostal Missions” and their ilk who are damaging the fabric of the society by indulging in conversions. This disturbing trend is the root cause for the disturbances in the coastal belt. One cannot deny about this. These groups vilify Hindu customs and gods in their meetings which is highly condemnable. They try every way to wean people from the hindu fold. If this in not condemnable and not stopped forthwith – the coastal belt which was a haven of peace will always be communal tinderbox - I would expect some sensible comment on this from our respectable readers. It is high time to call a spade – a spade.

It is a welcome relief to all communities that the notorious Muthalik is banned to enter Karnataka. Now all his goons and followers should also be punished in a similar way. In fact, they have to be rehabilitated in such a way and to be taught or shown by the young boys and girls how to serve and drink beer, cocktails, mocktails, hard liquor etc and how to drink it and behave in a modern cultured society of Mangalore.

Why cannt government ban this Rama Sena who are disturbing the peace of mangalore.? In the name religon and culture, who are they to harass youths? However why the media has not shown the pictures of these bottles/weapons in their report? Why there are no pieces of bottles found in side the bus or on the road. Is it not a misleading information to fool the public and keep the temp high?????

Mr. Ponnuraj is known for NOT taking any bribes from anyone! That is why he did what he beleived in. He beleived in protecting the city of mangalore from thugs and not in the power of money that other public servants/politicians will gladly accept. He was fearless when he was the DC in Udupi, and did not bow down to any pressure from any political party or well-funded business, especially in the case of road widening in Udupi and all the controversy it created.

Now there is a wide road (four lane) thanks to him. I salute you, Mr Ponnuraj. We need more people like you to run our bureaucracies and banish corruption, which is the primary reason why government servants change their decisions so quickly.

Well DC I will salute you and appreciate your straightforwardness by taking the correct decision without making the partiality in your work let God bless you and to your position.

You DC better you take the decision for imposing ban also on Sri Rama Sena of DKD. Now dear Muthalik I am deeply sympathise with you for the ban you got for entering to DKD for one year it is good for you from that one year period ban. Now it is better you will go to the forest for VANAVASA and make tappsu to do penance of your brutal crimes you had committed against Lord Rama or you better go to Pakistan sure where you will get welcome and chance to cultivate dirty tricks and your bull sheet culture.
