Doha: Kannada Islamic Dawa Center Celebrates Eid

Doha, Dec 15: Qatar Kannada Islamic Dawa Center a forum of Kannada speaking Muslim expatriates in Qatar, celebrated Eid-ul-Adha at Al Sadd as on December 08, 2008.  Association General Secretary Muhammad Ali Arimala welcomed the gatherings. President Moideen Ibrahim presided the function. Aboobaker Balusheri (QMIC President), Salim Madani (QMIC General Secretary), Salman Swalahi, Hamza Salafi and Ziyaul Haq Salafi are the chief guests of the occasion.



Association organized different competitions for the gatherings. The following are the winners of the competition.

Kannada Songs: Anwar Kundapura – First Prize
Group Quiz Competition: Naseem Usman & Group – First Prize
Group Quiz Competition: Nazeer Arimala & Group – Second Prize
Speech – Kannada Language – Anwar Kundapura – First Prize
Speech – Malayalam Language – Abdul Hameed Malapuram – First Prize
Quran Recitation – Abdul Hameed Hosangady – First Prize

Salman Swalahi awarded the prizes to the winners. Mohideen Ibrahim prposed the vote of thanks. After the program members visited Al Rumeila Hospital to convey the Eid Greetings to the patients who are unable to attend Eid Celebration.
