Actor-director Raj B Shetty turns villain in his next 'Ammachi Yemba Nenapu'

Mangaluru, Oct 2: Actor-director Raj B Shetty who rose to fame with 'Ondu Motteya Kathe' is all set to entertain the cine-lovers with his dark side in a negative role in Champa P Shetty directorial 'Ammachi Yemba Nenapu'.

The upcoming Kannada movie is an adaptation of Akku, a play which blended three short stories by renowned Kannada writer Vaidehi.' Champa B Shetty is a state award winner and also a theatre artiste. The movie is produced by a creative team from coastal Karnataka.

Raj will don the role of Venkappayyaiah who is an illiterate. Raj will be seen in a negative role in this movie.

Champa says that audience will get the taste of Kundapura and Mangaluru Kannada in the film and the movie is expected to release in the first week of November.

Vyjayanthi Adiga is playing the role of Ammachi. Prakash P Shetty, Geetha Suratkal, Vandana and Inandar are producing the film. Cinematography is by Naveen Kumar while music is by Kashinath Pattar.
