Bantwal: Closing Ceremony of Jeevan Jyoti Camp

Bantwal, Oct 17: The closing ceremony of Jeevan Jyothi Camp was held on Wednesday October 15 at 7 pm at Monkap near here.  President of the programme Fr Roque D'Sa , congratulated all the participants for their active participation during the duration of the four-day camp and also, asked them to put into practice whatever they have learnt in their lives and to become good Christians in the society.
 
Ashwin Pinto Farla and Lavita Saldanha shared their experiences at the camp, on behalf of the particepants, while Sr Narcissa shared her expericnce on behalf of the Animators.



Fr Vincent Coelho, convenor of the camp, gratefully acknowledged the services of all the priests of the deanary specially  Fr Udaya Joseph Fernandes, Fr Edwin Coelho parish priest of Nirkan and Fr Lawrence Mascarenhas, parish priest of Allipade and all the animators.
 
200 Children of Bantwal deanary gained a lot of knowledge on various topics such as self awareness, 'my Responsibility in my family',tips for good behaviour, mass media, Litergy and Bible service, sex education and personality development and Vocation, Sacraments etc.
 
The group enjoyed all the facilities given to them, especially to present their talents during the cultural activities.
