Mumbai, Jul 17: Billavara Association formed its executive committee for the period 2018-2021. Chandrashekar S Poojary (Shanti) was elected president, Jayanti V Ullal was elected president of the women's wing and Nagesh M Kotian was elected president of Yuvabhyudaya sub committee.

The election was held at Billavara Bhavan auditorium, Santacruz east on Monday evening July 16 under the guidance of former association president and national Billavara Mahamandala president Jaya C Suvarna and chaired by association president Nithyananda D Kotian.

Shanker D Poojary, Harish G Ameen, Dayananda R Poojary Kalva and Srinivas R Karkera were elected vice presidents, Dhananjay S Kotian, honorary chief secretary, Rajesh J Bangera, honorary chief treasurer, Harish G Salian, Harish Hejmady, Keshava K Kotian as Dharmesh S Salian honorary chief secretaries, Shivarama K Salian, Jaya S
Suvarna, Mohan D Poojary, Babitha J Kotian joint treasurers, Sumitra S Bangera as women's wing secretary, Umesh M Kotian as Yuvabhyudaya committee secretary and Gopala S Kotian was elected GOC.

social and spiritual committee president, Ravindra A Ameen secretary, Shakuntala K Kotian, ordinary assistance committee president, Sadashiva A Karkera secretary, Sumitra S Bangera, president of Shubha Mangala committee, Babita Kotian secretary and Dharmapal G Anchan, Mahesh C Poojary, Nilesh Poojary, Dr Rajashekar R Kotian and
Akshay A Poojary were elected members of executive committee.

Thirty members were elected for executive committee for three years in the recent 86th annual meeting. Former president L V Ameen, Billava leaders Jyothi K Suvarna, Bhasker M Salian and Gangadhar J Poojary were present. Outgoing president Nithyananda D Kotian presented a flower bouquet to the newly elected president Chandrashekar S Poojary, handed over charge and congratulated all the office bearers. Dharmapal G Anchan thanked everyone.
