Mangaluru: Tulu film ‘Ammer Polisa’ releases all over coastal Karnataka

Mangaluru, Jun 23: The much-awaited Tulu film ‘Ammer Polisa’ released all over coastal Karnataka on Friday, June 22.

The film’s release function was held at Jyothi theatre. Roopesh Shetty, Pooja Shetty, Kishore D Shetty, Prakash Pandeshwar, Satish Patla, Rajesh Brahmavar, Pradeep Kalkura and others were present.

Other than Jyothi theatre, ‘Ammer Polisa’ is currently running at PVR, Bharath Cinemas, and Cinepolis in Mangaluru, Nataraj theatre in Surathkal, Kalpana theatre in Udupi, INOX and Bharath Cinemas in Manipal, Amarshree in Moodbidri, Radhika and Planet theatre in Karkala, Aruna theatre in Puttur, Bharath theatre in Beltangady and Santhosh theatre in Sullia.

‘Ammer Polisa’ is directed by K Sooraj Shetty and stars Ropesh Shetty and Pooja Shetty in the lead role. Aravind Bolar, Sathish Bandale, Prasanna Shetty, Vismay Vinayak, Mime Ramdas, Deepak Rai and others will also be seen in the film. Sooraj has earlier delivered super-hits like ‘Ekka Saka’, and ‘Pilibail Yamunakka’.

The audio CD of the film has just one song rendered by music director Sandeep R Ballal. The lyrics of the song are penned by Arjun Lewis.

Sachin S Shetty has handled cinematography. Rajesh B Shetty has produced the film.

    Nice movie. Good concept. new trend setter for tulu industry. camera work and BGM reminds of malyalam movies but repeated dialogues bore the public. last 20 mts was too much irritating other wise the movie was good
