Mangaluru, Jun 18: Tulu film producer Rajesh Bramhavar was elected the president of Tulu Film Producers’ Association (Tulu Chalanachitra Nirmapakara Sangha) for the year 2018-19 in an election held on Sunday, June 17.

Rajesh Brahmavar was the president of the association during 2017-18 too. He is the producer of hit Tulu movie ‘Dombarata’. He is also producing 'Katapady Kattappa' which will be released soon.

Other new office-bearers of the association were also elected.

Producer Sharmila D Kapikad was elected as secretary, Kishore Kottari as treasurer, Sharath Kadri, Chandrahas Suvarna, and Sudesh Bhandary as vice-presidents, and Sachin A S Uppinangady, Shravan Kadri and Pranav Hegde as joint secretaries.

Vijay Kumar Kodialbail, Jyothi Jain, Mukesh Hegde, Gangadar Shetty, Balakrishna Shetty, Savitha Chowta, Ranjith Shetty, Sachindra Shetty, Sukesh Bhandary, Ashika Suvarna and Gurudath Kini were elected as the members of the executive committee.
