Mumbai, Jun 11: Konkani Catholic Association Nallasofara under the aegis of Helping Hands held a programme at Nallasofara east KCA auditorium on Sunday June 10 for annual distribution of scholarships and stationery to poor school children for the current academic year.
Association president Harry Cutinho chaired the programme. KCA and Helping Hands organization office bearers were present. Thane district Palghar police officer Sandeep Makol distributed scholarships to children and wished them well.















He said that encouraging students is a great work. “The service of KCA in that direction is commendable. May it continue in greater service and gain appreciation from all,” he said.
Several economically backward students were presented school fees, uniforms, notebooks and other necessary stationery. KCA executive committee members Hilda D'Souza, Claud D'Silva, Lavina Quadros, Lilly Quadros, Romeo Castelino, Daina Moraes, Helping Hand's Jeevan Kotian, Emelda D'Souza, Peter Rodrigues and others who were present, worked toward the success of the programme.
Rohington Kaka welcomed the gathering and compered the programme.
