Bangkok woman killed taking selfie on train track


Bangkok, Feb 9 (IANS): A 24-year-old woman has been killed while taking a selfie with a friend on a train track in Thailand.

The woman's leg got severed in the Thursday incident at the Samsen railway station and died in hospital. Her male friend sustained severe injuries, the BBC reported.

The friend said they had been drinking and decided "to take a photo with the train" but did not see an approaching train on the other track, the police said.
