Amarjit Wins Gold in Triple Jump in Malaysia

New Delhi, Jul 7: India's Amarjit Singh won gold in men's triple jump at the Malaysian Pre-Olympic Championship in Kuala Lumpur.

Amarjit jumped 16.64m to win the yellow metal at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil in the Malaysian capital, according to information received here on Sunday.

In the men's 110m hurdles, national record holder Krishna Mohan finished second with a timing of 14.02s. Host runner Robani Hassan won the event in 13.85s.
