Mangaluru: ‘Rang Rangda Dibbana’ sets cash registers ringing at box-office

Mangaluru, Nov 18: Director Krishnaprasad Uppinakote’s Tulu film ‘Rang Rangda Dibbana’ which released on November 3 at various theatres has made good revenue in its two week run.

The film has been liked by one and all. It has brought a fresh content for Coastalwood cine lovers as most of the Tulu films have always been based on comedy.

Raviraj Shetty, Samhita Shah, Prashanth Samaga, Swati Bangera, Umesh Mijar, Raghavendra Rai, Dinesh Attavar, Ranjan Boloor and others are seen in the film.

Produced by Sharath Kotian, the film has catchy songs by composer S P Chandrakanth. Popular singers like Javed Ali, Udit Narayan, Karthik, Priya Himesh and Anuradha Bhat have lent their vocals for the songs. Local talents Vinutha, Prathima Bhat and composer SP Chandrakanth himself too have crooned for the album.

Earlier, Sandalwood’s well-known film production company and distributers, Thoogudeepa Productions, had purchased the distribution rights of the film which one of the positive developments for the ever improving Tulu film industry.
