Mangaluru: Actor Rangayana Raghu to make Coastalwood debut with ‘My Name is Annappa’

Mangaluru, Oct 9: Well-known and very talented actor from Sandalwood, Rangayana Raghu, is all set to make his Coastalwood debut with Mayur Shetty’s directorial venture ‘My Name is Annappa’.

Raghu, who has acted in more than 300 films, will be seen for the first time in a Tulu film. He will add to the long list of Sandalwood actors like Bharati Vishnuvardhan, Jai Jagadish, Tennis Krishna, Sindhu Loknath and many more, who have acted in Tulu films.

The actor will shoot for his part in the film in Mangaluru for two days. He will be seen playing a teacher.

“The character was tailor-made for Rangayana Raghu. So I offered him the role. He accepted it happily. He will shoot for his portions on October 14 and 15 in the city. The role he plays is has elements of comedy,” says director Mayur.
