Puttur: St Philomena College signs MoU with Diya Systems

Puttur, Sep 5: St Philomena College, here, and Diya Systems (Mangalore) Pvt Ltd, on Monday, September 4, formally signed an MoU at the college auditorium.

The Mamorandum of Understanding (MoU) is designed to fulfill various objectives like imparting training to the students and faculty of the institute by the industry, accommodating final BCA students of the institute for their project work or internship at the industry, providing employment for fresh BCA graduates of the institute by the industry and exploring possibilities of mutual support in any area based on mutual convenience.



The exchange of MoU took place between Prof Leo Noronha, principal, St Philomena College Puttur and Shyam Prasad Hebbar, associate general manager-operations, Diya Systems (Mangalore) Pvt Ltd.

Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, campus director of the college, and Dr Melwin D’Souza, senior delivery manager of Diya Systems participated as the guests of honour.

Ranjitha with her prayer song invoked God's blessings. Head of department of Computer Science Vinayachandra welcomed the gathering and delivered the introductory speech. Assistant professor Varija M proposed the vote of thanks. Assistant professor Geetha Poornima compered the programme.
