Mangaluru: Installation programme of Rotaract club of SDM PG Centre held

Mangaluru, Sep 1: The installation programme of Rotaract club of SDM PG Centre for Management Studies was held on Thursday, August 31.

President of Rotary Club of Mangalore Vasanth Shenoy inducted new president Adithi by collaring and handing over the gavel. Other office bearers were handed over the charge by secretary Naveen Narayan.

The new president delivered her acceptance speech.

Staff co-ordinator Prakash HS presented the report of the previous year which was followed by a video presentation of last year’s Rotoquiz.

Director of SDM College Dr Devraj addressed the gathering. Rotaract chairman Vinod D’Souza addressed the gathering and handed over Rotoquiz circulars and posters.

The chief guest Dr C R Kamath gave an inspiring speech which was well accepted by all.

The president of Rotary gave his presidential address high lighting the role of Rotary in developing young talents.

After the formal vote of thanks the meeting was adjourned for national anthem.

Namratha Shetty compered the programme. Past president Madhav Suvarna, Yatish Baikampady, Community Service Director Sanjiv Poojary, Srikanth Kamath and Ann Veena, Rotarians Aditya Pai and Venugopal Puthran, Rotaractors Shaswatha and Divyashree from Rotaract Club of Besant PG Centre were present.
