M'luru: St Mary's institutions celebrates 71st Year of Indian Independence

Mangaluru, Aug 18: St Mary's was geared up and enthused to celebrate, on Tuesday, August 15, the 71st year of Indian Independence.

Chief guest Walter D’Cunha, PTA executive member of St Mary’s High School, hoisted the national flag and gave an inspiring message on the glorious occasion.

With a beautiful sun shining bright up in the sky, a spectacular parade was exhibited by students who marched smartly to the rhythm of their  school band.


    

 

 

 

The students promised to protect their motherland through the oath administered by Varshini Manohar, school pupil leader. Students highlighted the significance of the day and expressed their patriotic emotions through songs.

This great and proud event was witnessed by many guests, parents, students and staff.
