Mangaluru: Mahesh PU College inaugurates students' association

Mangaluru, Jul 9: Mahesh PU College, here, inaugurated the new students' association in a formal ceremony on Monday, July 3.

Speaking on occasion, Lions former district governor M B Sadashiva said, “Students must be able to face the questions and need to be sensible and wise.

When both your heart and soul are united wholly and you develop sacrificial attitude then only your student life will be successful. Just like the staircase is built upward, when value based education is provided, one must make good use of the opportunity and climb up the steps of success,” he added.





“Everyone may not possess the same talents, but equal opportunities are provided for everyone to develop ones own talents. One whose mind is free will utilize the opportunity well and achieve greater things. As for students, along with college lessons and lectures activities like student’s association, cultural, sports and national level opportunities will help develop leadership qualities and would even help the overall development,” said college director and principal Dr Naveen Shetty K who presided the programme.

The college administrator professor Anil Mascarenhas administered the oath for the student leaders. The director of student association, Swapna introduced the guests. Ruben D’Souza welcomed the gathering. Professor Venkatesh introduced the student leaders. Sumati Pai and Yashaswini compered the programme. The leader of students' association, proposed the vote of thanks.
