Painting Exhibition on Alcohol and Drugs De-addiction on Apr 20

Mangalore, Apr 20: An awareness programme is being organized on ‘Alcohol and drugs de-addiction’ by Janajagruthi Vedike at SDM Law college here today, Sunday April 20. 
 
On this occasion there will be a Varna Jagruthi, an on-the-spot painting event by renowned artists. Forum president Mohammed Ismail gave the information at a meet recently that artists will be painting from their imagination on the spot, with the view to depicting the side effects of addiction.
 
At the programme artists like Ganesh Somayaji, Kandan G Basavarj Kuttni, Permude Mohan Kumar, N S Pattar, Ravi M R,  Anand Bedrala, Rajendra Kedige, Purushottam Adve, Anil Devadiga, Prashanth and Naveen will participate.  
 
The programme will be inaugurated by Karavali group of education chairman S Ganesh Rao and Belgaum VTU former vice chancellor Dr Balaveera Reddy will preside over the function.
 
On the occasion as chief guest World Wide Shiping Inc MD A Moideen will be present alongwith others such as the assistant commissioner Sameer Shukla, Vedike president Vasanth Kumar Salian, artist N S Pattar and SKDRDP director Mahaveera Ajri. 
 
Member Mahabala Chowta and Vedike secretary Purushotham were present at the press meet.
