Puttur: St Philomena College holds Welcome Programme for First Degree students

Puttur, Jun 24: The First Degree students of St Philomena College were accorded a warm welcome with a Welcome Programme on June 20 at the college auditorium.

The programme was inaugurated by the correspondent Fr Alfred J Pinto. In his presidential address he said, "Right things in the right place are termed holiness. Right things in a wrong place are termed dirty."

The campus director Fr Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro said, "Discipline and hard work leads to success in life." The principal professor Leo Noronha presented the code of conduct of the college.

Sahana Rao presented a prayer song. The student welfare officers Dr Vijaya Kumar M welcomed the gathering and Bharathi S Rai compered the programme.
