Mangaluru: Long awaited 'Arjun weds Amrutha' trailer released

Mangaluru Apr 28: The trailer of the well awaited Tulu film 'Arjun Weds Amrutha' was released on Friday April 28 by Jhankar music through YouTube. The film is a love story with an emotional thread and a dash of comedy. The trailer has been shot with elegance and the film promises entertainment. The film is scheduled for release on May 19.

Produced under the banner Bedra 9 Creations by Dinesh Mallya, Kiran B N, Venkatesh Kamath and Akshatha Kamath, the film has been directed by Raghu Shetty. He has written the story, dialougues and screenplay as well. Jnanesh Matad has handled the editing and Jagannath Shetty Bala has done the publicity work. Anand Sundaresh is the cinematographer and choreography is by Kiran and Tarunraj. 'Arjun weds Amrutha' has been shot across Mangaluru.

For the first time in the history of Tulu films, a female composer, Suma L N Shaashtry has composed the music for 'Arjun Weds Amrutha'. TV9 programme director Rajesh Shetty and Damodar Dandole have penned the lyrics. Rajesh Krishnan, Hemanth, L N Shaashtry, Supriya and Suma have lent their voices for the songs. The audio of 'Arjun Weds Amrutha' contains seven songs.

'Nirel' and 'Dhand' fame Anoop Sagar and Aradhya Shetty play the title characters of Arjun and Amrutha respectively. Naveen D Padil will be seen in a prominent role in the film. Aravind Bolar, Bojraaj Vamanjoor, Umesh Mijar, Sandeep Shetty Maanibettu, Prasanna Shetty, Sathish Bandale, Pavithra Shetty, Harini Karkala, Ramesh Rai,
Sudhir Raj and R J Anurag will be seen in supporting roles. The movie has completed its dubbing work at Daijiworld Audio Visual Studio.
