Film fraternity blesses the 'Golden' couple

Bangalore, Feb 25: Actor Ganesh's wedding reception held at actor-producer Sanjay Khan's resort Golden Palms on the outskirts of Bangalore on Sunday evening had celebrities from the Kannada film world line up as guests.
Well known faces from the industry and his fans wished the couple Ganesh - Shilpa on the occasion. The actor had entered into wedlock with Shilpa in Bangalore on February 11.
Golden Star Ganesh was clad in gold colour sherwani, while Shilpa adorned a rose colour silk sari. The stage comprising lord Ganesha idol at the background was designed by artist Shashidhar Adapa. The dishes served on the occasion included both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. It is said Ganesh and Shilpa decided the menu for the ceremony.
Actor-producer Dwarakish, artists Jayanthi, Srinath, music director Mano Murthy, former chief minister Yeddyurappa, actor Puneet Rajkumar, director Yograj Bhat, lyricist Jayant Kaikini were among those wished the couple at the reception.
According to M K Subramanya, close associate of the actor, Ganesh’s and Shilpa’s relatives took part in the reception ceremony. More than 800 people including big names of Kannada filmdom were invited. Subramanya said the resort outside the city was selected for the reception to avoid huge crowds. The couple plans to go for honeymoon after finishing shooting for his movie Bombat.
