Mangaluru: 'Arjun Weds Amrutha' set for April release

Mangaluru, Feb 14: Coastalwood audience is all set to witness the release of 'Arjun weds Amrutha' this April. The film happens to be a love story with a dash of comedy.

'Arjun weds Amrutha' from the banner Bedra 9 Creations, has been directed by Raghu Shetty. He has written the story, dialougues and screenplay as well. The film is currently going through pre-production work. The team of 'Arjun weds Amrutha' is planning to release the audio in March.

For the first time in the history of Tulu films, a female composer, Suma Shashtri has composed the music. TV9 program director Rajesh Shetty and Damodar Dandole have penned the lyrics. Rajesh Krishnan, Hemanth, L N Shashtri, Supriya and Suma have lent their voice to the songs. Madipu fame Chethan Mundadi is the art director, Madan-Harini are the choreographers and Anand Sundaresh is the cinematographer. 'Arjun weds Amrutha' has been shot across Mangaluru and Kerala.

'Nirel' and 'Dhand' fame Anoop Sagar and Aradhya Shetty play the title characters of Arjun and Amrutha respectively. Naveen D Padil will be seen in a prominent role in the film. Aravind Bolar, Bojraaj Vamanjoor, Umesh Mijar, Sundar Rai Mandara and RJ Anurag will be seen supporting roles.
