'Ape in heels': Racist post about Michelle Obama causes backlash

Clay, Nov 14 (AP): The director of a West Virginia development group and a mayor are under scrutiny after a racist post about first lady Michelle Obama caused a backlash and prompted calls on social media for both women to be fired.

Clay County Development Corp director Pamela Ramsey Taylor made the post following Donald Trump's election as president.

Her post said, "It will be refreshing to have a classy, beautiful, dignified First Lady in the White House. I'm tired of seeing a Ape in heels."

Clay Mayor Beverly Whaling responded, "Just made my day Pam."

The post, first reported by WSAZ-TV, was later deleted.

It was shared hundreds of times on social media.

A call to the Clay County Development Corp went unanswered and Whaling didn't immediately return a telephone message today.

    Ms Taylor,

Please note.. that even if according to you Ms Obama looks like an ape, she is still luckier than the refreshingly beautiful Melania Trump. The reason being that the husband of the ape (as you call her) is not a womaniser.

oh... I heard that black people cannot be racist no matter what they call white people. That`s the SJW rhetoric.

    PEDDU,

Indians can be racist. but most indians are casteist.

Women`s entry into temples is a religious issue. question is why do women want to follow such religion that does not allow them to enter temples.

There's private conversation between the erstwhile prz Nixon and secretary of states Henry Kissinger during Indo Pak war of 1971 in which they use a highly derogatory 5 lettered word to refer to our erstwhile PM Mrs Gandhi. This recoded conversation was released much later, if I'm not mistaken it's available in YouTube.

These things used to happen in India...Now thanx America...you are far ahead from us...Just like how after general election certain sections got emboldened in India...Same thing is repeated in America...But here those who are targeted are mainly Blacks,Latinos and Browns...
When other countries used to fault America used to give its ethical sermon sometime even by using force...Irony now it suffers from the same...
