Mangalore, Sep 16: A west coast container feeder servicer - M V ‘Kinship Bangar’ has been introduced by the Seaways group, a leading shipping and logistics service provider, stated a press release from the group here recently.
 
This connectivity will prove to be a boon to trade in terms of effective trans-shipment of cargo, lesser transit time and cost effectiveness, in a release from seaways group, informed the press release.

Not only will the container feeder handle exim trade, coastal trade will also benefit.   Coastal shipping is definitely safer, faster and cost effective in moving large volumes, added the release.

Further the release pointed out that Seaways group is already operating Container Feeder Services (CFS) on the east coast as well as connecting Chittagong, Bangladesh and even extended the East Coast service to Singapore and port Klang. It has aggressive expansion plans on the anvil, including forays into CFS and port developments, integrated warehousing and cold chain complexes at various locations, the release added.

Seaways group started its operations 18 years ago and as of date has a network of 27 branches as well as overseas offices. It has total staff strength of about 850, including 15 master mariners, stated the release.
