Udupi, Jul 23: Dr Ghosh, an officer of Indian center for medical research visited the limits of Malpe recently as the malaria cases are increasing in the limits of primary health centres of Malpe and Udupi town.
 
Shina Poojari from Byndoor Manjeshwara admitted for medication to malaria in Manipal Private Hospital and later he was admitted in a private hospital at Kundapur for the same.
 
According to the records of the Manipal Hospital he had completely recovered from malaria. He did not have money for his treatment and as it was late he developed other diseases. Hence, he was compelled to shift. He died as he was shifted to Wenlock Hospital from Manipal Hospital.
 
Dr Ghosh confirmed that the patient died not because of malaria. Dr MR Naik confirmed that the patient died because of the respiratory diseases.
 
It is also felt that the cooperation on the side of the public is necessary to prevent the epidemics like malaria. The public has to see that the surroundings are kept clean so as to avoid the reproduction of mosquitoes.

The public has been informed to use mosquito nets to be safe and not to develop epidemics like malaria which could be fatal, said the medical officer.
