Mangalore: Two-day Workshop on Kannada Poetry Opens at Sandesha

Mangalore, Jul 14: A two-day workshop on Kannada poetry began in the Sandesha auditorium on Saturday, July 14.

It was inaugurated by Sandesha director Fr Francis Lewis. Sandesha's Kannada lecturer Dr Kavita Rai introduced the guests and briefed about the workshop.
The resource persons at the workshop are Prof T P Ashok, well-known literary critic and thinker, L C Sumitra, Kannada professor, Tunga College, Tirthahalli, and Prof Shrikanthamurty, English lecturer, Tunga College Tirthahalli.
Sandesha Lalitkala Mahavidyalaya principal Vani Rajagopal proposed a vote of thanks.
The two-cay workshop is expected to go a long way in training the participants in different aspects of Kannada poetry, literary appreciation and criticism and related subjects.
