Mangalore: Two Severely Injured in House Collapse at Kadri Mundan

Mangalore, Jun 13: A person was severely injured when the boundary wall of an abandaned house at Kadri Mundan fell over him on Wednesday, June 13 afternoon.
The injured person has been identified as Divakar Shetty. The incident occurred while he was walking on the road and he ended up with injuries in the head and legs.
Immediately neighbours and passers-by rushed to his help along with local corporator and former mayor Diwaker.
Divakar Shetrty was later admitted to a hospital.
Rescuer gets injured
While rescuing Divakar Shetty, another person called Janardhan came into contact with a live electric wire and suffered an electrical shock and severe injury. Immediately he was also taken to a hospital and he is under observation now.
