Mangalore, Jun 11: Passengers of two speeding buses had miraculous escape after the buses they were travelling collided with each other before rolling off the road at Patel House near Nagori here on Monday June 11 evening.
A KSRTC bus and a private bus (route no 10 - Rajkumar) collided with each other at Patel House. The buses were plying on such a high speed that the KSRTC bus was damaged completely and went off the road. Even Rajkumar bus was damaged substantially.
But almost all the passengers in both the buses escaped with no injuries. Preliminary reports have confirmed that only one person has sustained injuries in the accident.
Kankanady police have registered a case in this regard.
