KSCA All-India cricket: Rana, Hooda, Das slam centuries


Bengaluru, July 22 (IANS): A 205-run partnership between Nitin Rana and Deepak Hooda carried the National Cricket Academy to 290 for four in their first innings against Andhra CA on the opening day of their four-day match in the KSCA All-India cricket tournament here on Wednesday.

Also among runs was Arindam Das for Tripura CA who made 227 for five against KSCA President's XI.

KSCA XI: 299 for 5 in 88 overs (Abhishek Reddy 42, C.M. Gautam 45, Pavan Deshapande 36, M. Nidesh 65 not out, J. Suchith 55 not out, Shreshth Nirmohi 2-62, Pankaj Jaiswal 2-45) vs Himachal Pradesh CA.

Assam CA: 89 for 6 in 40 overs (Pallab Kumar Das 32, Alok Chandra Sahoo 3-27, Jayant Behera 2-8) vs Orissa CA.

Haryana CA: 237 all out in 78.4 overs (Sunny Singh 60, Shubham Rohilla 31, Ravi Kant Singh 4-33, Sayan Ghosh 2-62, Bapi Manna 2-43, Pradipta Pramanik 2-48) vs Cricket Association Bengal: 14 for no loss in 7.5 overs.

Tripura CA: 227 for 5 in 90 overs (Arindam Das 110, Abhijith Dey 30, Anirudha Joshi 2-18) vs KSCA President's XI.

National Cricket Academy: 290 for 7 in 84 overs (Nitin Rana 103, Deepak Hooda 100, Shashikanth 2-35, G Shankar Rao 2-86, G Chiranjeevi 2-16) vs Andhra CA.

Dr. DY Patil: 314 for 8 in 88 overs (Vikrant Auti 88, Sarfaraz Khan 61, Yogesh Takawale 50, Shashank Singh 45, Prateek Jain 4-61, SL Akshay 2-37) vs KSCA Colts.

Gujarat CA: 176 for 4 in 71 overs (Priyank Panchal 61, Bhargav Merai 64 not out, DT Chandrasekhar 3-71) vs TNCA.
