Delhi Dynamos retain Brazilian dos Santos

New Delhi, July 1 (IANS): Indian Super League (ISL) franchise Delhi Dynamos FC on Wednesday retained young Brazilian footballer Gustavo Marmentini dos Santos for the second season.

The fleet-footed trickster will be back in the capital after gaining valuable first team experience with Brazilian powerhouse Atletico Paranaense.

"I am excited to be a part of Delhi Dynamos again. I had some very fond memories last season. The fans are really special to me and I look forward to entertaining them," dos Santos said in a release.

Dos Santos, 21, led the charts for Dynamos, scoring almost one-third of the side's goals in the inaugural season.

Having come heartbreakingly close to propelling Delhi into the semi-finals with his shot against the post in the dying minutes of the final game, dos Santos will be gunning for both team and individual honours this season.
