Tehran, May 20 (IANS): Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Wednesday that Tehran would not accept "unreasonable demands" by world powers during negotiations over its disputed nuclear programme, and ruled out letting inspectors interview its atomic scientists.

"They (P5 1 countries) are making new comments in the nuclear negotiations. Regarding the inspections, we have said that we will not allow foreigners to carry out inspections of any Iranian military sites," Press TV quoted Khamenei as saying at the commencement ceremony for graduates of the Imam Hossein Military Academy.

The leader added that foreigners' call for interview with Iranian nuclear scientists means "interrogation" and emphasised that he would not allow aliens to speak with Iranian nuclear scientists.

"Firm resolve" and "lack of inaction" are the only way to counter the "brazen enemy", said the Iranian leader, addressing nuclear officials.

Khamenei said the officials should be able to relay the Iranian people's message and show the nation's grandeur in the nuclear negotiations.

In case of any mischievous acts by the enemies to wage proxy wars, Iran will show a very tough reaction, the Iranian leader stated.

Iran and world powers will begin a new round of negotiations to finalise an accord on the country's nuclear issue in the Austrian capital of Vienna on Wednesday.
