Karanvir Bohra eyes production

McLeodganj (Himachal Pradesh), May 16 (IANS): Actor Karanvir Bohra says the next step in his career in showbiz would be production and acting in his venture.

“The next thing I will probably do is act in the show I produce,” Karanvir told IANS in a group interview here.

The actor has not made up his mind for any specified medium.

“For film, I would like to produce a thriller or anti-hero because that is the space which is completely empty. For TV, I will never do a negative as people like to see nice people and happy faces so maybe a romo-drama (romantic-drama). But the venture has to be impactful,” he said.

Karanvir, who has done negative roles on television in serials like “Kasautii Zindagii Kay” and “Dil Se Di Dua... Saubhagyavati Bhava?”, is now focusing on shedding his negative image by his stint on the Zee TV show "Qubool Hai".

A bevy of actors have plunged into Bollywood after finding fame on the small screen. Karanvir is also not averse to the idea, but on his conditions.

“You cannot accept anything for Bollywood. You have worked so hard and found a place in TV through your shows, one cannot ruin it for any run-of-the-mill project of Bollywood,” he said.

In the past, he has been part of films like “Kismat Konnection” and “Love Yoou Soniye”.
