I was too vague: Kris Humphries apologises to Bruce Jenner

Los Angeles, April 26 (IANS): Reality TV star Kim Kardashian's former husband Kris Humphries has apologised for a tweet he sent regarding Bruce Jenner's gender transition.

Bruce, 65, announced his decision to become a woman during a tell-all interview, and while the show was being broadcast, Humphries took to Twitter to send out a message.

The 30-year-old posted: "Man, I'm glad I got out when I did. #Gottadoyou"

Subsequently, the basketball player, who was married to Kim from 2011 to 2013, was subjected to a torrent of abuse from online users, many of whom accused him of being insensitive and ignorant, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

However, Humphries has since insisted that it was never his intention and his original tweet was badly misinterpreted.

He said: "I have and always will support Bruce hence #Gottadoyou. Now recognise I was too vague and sincerely apologise for the way this came across. "#FullySupportBruce."
