Unaware of quake, Delhi Daredevils shop in Gurgaon

Gurgaon, April 25 (IANS): Delhi Daredevils captain J.P. Duminy and four of his teammates were busy shopping at a mall here and did not feel the tremors of the massive earthquake that hit Nepal on Saturday, an official said.

Indian Premier League's purple cap holder Imran Tahir, presently the most successful bowler with 13 wickets, Angelo Mathews, Quinton de Kock, Shreyas Iyer and Albie Morkel accompanied Duminy to the mall, as the earthquake also shook Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR).

"All of us were not aware of the tremors. A few people present at the mall might have felt something," Brijesh Bhatt, an official who was with the Delhi team, told IANS.

"I believed something was wrong. My mother later told me it was an earthquake," he said.
