While Kamal Haasan's movie will be releasing in Tamil, Shruti's will be releasing in Hindi and yet they will be vying for the most number of footfalls in theatres. This is a first for Shruti where she goes head to head with her own father. The trailer of
"Uttam Villain" shows it to be a riot of colours expressing a complex story that oscillates between an 8th century theatre artist and a modern day superstar.

Shruti Haasan plays the female lead Devika in the Akshay Kumar starrer "Gabbar is Back". Both father and daughter who are a storehouse of talent each are reported to have belted out a song each for their respective movies.
