Young fashion trade event held in capital

New Delhi, April 13 (IANS): Fashion trade event India Runway Week season four summer edition celebrated fresh fashion by young talent here.

Held over the weekend, the fashion event, organised by the Indian Federation For Fashion Development (IFFD), saw participation by 35 designers including Jenjum Gadi and Masumi Mewawala.

It gave an opportunity to young designers to share a platform with some of the established names from the fashion fraternity.

“The IFFD team is young and we know it’s difficult for young entrepreneurs to survive. Everyone talks about youth but no one is doing anything substantial for them. Young Fashion Movement is one small step to give more opportunities to young talent in the field of fashion,” Avinash Pathania, founder, IFFD, said in a statement.

The three-day event saw Bollywood showstoppers like Amyra Dastur, Ajaz Khan and Taapsee Pannu.
