National Award winner Uthara sings for G.V Prakash again

Chennai, April 8 (IANS): Uthara Unnikrishnan, who bagged the National Award for her song in last year's Tamil drama "Saivam", has crooned again in G.V Prakash Kumar's composition in upcoming but yet-untitled film in the language featuring superstar Vijay.

Ten-year-old Uthara won the National Award for the song "Azhage", which was also composed by Prakash.

"Uthara recorded a lovely track for Vijay's 59th film. It has come out very well. It's too early to talk about the song," Prakash told IANS.

An ardent fan of actor Vijay, singing for the superstar was on the young singer's wish list.

The film, which is yet to go on floors, will be directed by Atlee. Amy Jackson and Samantha are rumoured to have been signed on as the leading ladies.
