Sahara Doordarshan Mumbai unit chief Syed Salman was the chief guest while social worker Manjunath G Mogaveera was the guest of honour.

Kannada Sahitya Parishat Maharashtra unit president H B L Rao, founder of Sri Geetambika Yakshagana troupe Mulur Sanjeeva D Kanchan, Karnataka Nataka Academy award winner Bharatkumar Polipu were honoured on the occasion.
The programme included classical and folk dance presentations. Kala Niketan secretary Meenakshi R Shriyan welcomed the gathering while joint secretary Raju Shriyan proposed the vote of thanks.
As part of the occasion, ‘Narayaniyam’ dance directed by Kala Niketan teacher M N Suvarna was performed along with other classical and folk dances assisted by various artistes.
