Sushant Singh Rajput attends History class as part of promoting DBB

Mumbai, Mar 24: Actor Sushant Singh Rajput who will soon be gracing the big screens in his upcoming movie Detective Byomkesh Bakshi (DBB) is busy with the promotional work of his movie will be attending a History lecture at Delhi university this week. Sushant said that History used to be his favourite subject way back in school and that he was very excited to be attending a lecture in a university that is reputed to have the best History department.

He elaborated that he love dreading up on History and that he had personally looked into the details of the classes taking place in order to incorporate it into his schedule. Playing a student of History in the movie as well, the actor said that he was eagerly looking forward to reliving his own college days by attending this lecture. He said, "I have always found history extremely interesting and I am excited to attend the history class at Delhi University."

Sushant also said that he will be going to Delhi with his director Dibakar Banerjee who, just like him is also a born and brought up Delhi boy. Director Dibakar Banerjee reportedly said that the team that has worked on this movie, is looking forward to the response that it will receive and if that is in their favour, they will definitely like to make DBB into a franchise.

The main character in the movie Detective Byomkesh Bakshy is based on the works of Saradindu Bandyopadhyay who created this fictional detective in 1932, that he described as a satyanweshi or truth seeker.
