Los Angeles, Feb 25 (IANS): Actress Jessica Chastain has joined Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron to star in the dark fantasy action film “The Huntsman”.
Directed by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan, the film will also star Emily Blunt, who was confirmed last week to have landed the part of the evil Snow Queen.
Both Hemsworth and Theron will reprise their role as the Huntsman Eric and villainous Ravenna. However, Chastain's role in the film is still not disclosed, reports variety.com.
Kristen Stewart, who played Snow White in the first film “Snow White and the Huntsman”, won't be reprising her role in the spinoff.
“The Huntsman” is expected to release April 22, 2016.
