Chennai, Nov 18 (IANS): Actors "Mirchi" Shiva and Bobby Simhaa, who are popular for their comical screen presence, have joined hands for upcoming Tamil commercial entertainer "Masala Padam".
"Shiva and Simhaa play the lead heroes in the film. Their combo is sure to attract lot of attention. It's a commercial film quite contrary to the ones that have been in Tamil before," the film's director Laxman Kumar told IANS.
"We've already completed shooting the first schedule. The shoot is currently progressing at the Pattinampakkam beach," he said.
Southern actress Lakshmy Devy plays the female lead.
Cinematographer-turned-director Laxman is co-producing the film with his friend Vijay Raghavendar.
