BCCI announces women's team for Test against South Africa


Mumbai, Nov 4 (IANS): The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Tuesday announced the Indian women's team for the one-off Test to be played against South Africa this month.

The South African team will also play three One-Day Internationals (ODI) and one Twenty20 International.

The BCCI also named India A squads, who will play a two-day warm up game and a one-day warm up game against South Africa.

Indian Team for Test: Mithali Raj (captain), Smriti Mandhana, Shikha Pandey, N. Niranjana, M.D. Thirushkamini, Jhulan Goswami, Punam Raut, Harmanpreet Kaur, Shubhalakshmi Sharma, Ekta Bisht, Rajeshwari Gaekwad, Sushma Verma, Poonam Yadav, Swagatika Rath, V.R. Vanitha.

India A team for two-day warm-up game: Gouher Sultana (captain), Kalpana R, Deepti Sharma, V.R. Vanitha, Paramita Roy, Preeti Bose, Devika Vaidya, Sneh Rana, Swagatika Rath, Ananya Upendran, Meghna Singh, Vaishali Mathur, Veda Krishnamurthy, Tejal Hasabnis.

India A team for one-day warm-up game: Smriti Mandhana (captain), Shweta Verma, Sneha Morey, Sneh Rana, Devika Vaidya, Manali Dakshini, Saika Ishaque, Tanushree Sarkar, Humera Kazi, Rizu Saha, Rakshita K, Soni Yadav, Deepti Sharma, Sushri Pradhan.
