Last year MESA felicitated Ashutosh Gowarikar, producer and director of socially-relevant films like Lagaan and Swades.

Celebrities like music director Himesh Reshamiyya, social activist and film director Ashok Pandit, film writer Robin Bhatt, former deputy mayor Ram Barot, music directors Sajid-Wajid, actor Sharbani Mukherjee, TV actor Tina Parekh and others had graced the occasion.

This year, MESA is felicitating National Award-winning actor Raveena Tandon, former India cricketer and Mumbai cricket team coach Pravin Amre and music maestro Anu Malik.

Prominent Mithibai alumni / alumnae include, amongst others, Ajay Devgan, Bobby Deol,Raveena Tandon, Shreyas Talpade and Anu Malik from the Film Industry, sportpersons Pravin Amre, Amol Mazumdar and Kavita Sood, industrialists Nayan Patel and Jay Shroff, models Madhu Sapre and Namrata Barua, television personalities Ekta Kapoor, Chetan Hansraj, Riva Bubber and Mansi Joshi, Reality Tv champions Ameya Date, Niharika Joshi and Rahul Vaidya.

Priya Dutt MP, actor-social activist Raveena Tandon, Mumbai cricket selector Pravin Amre, Rap Star Baba Sehgal, Dancing Queen Shveta Salve with partner Longinus Fernandes, `Roja Girl' Madhoo, Mansi Joshi (Kussum) with Rohit Roy and and King of Bling Bappi Lahiri will be among the many celebrities who will be joining, says the press release.

"MESA is a socially responsible organization which has collected money for widows of Kargil Jawans, organized heath camps and blood donation drives in the past. We have over 3000 members in our rolls." said MESA president Khalid Khan.
