NBA: Durant has surgery on broken foot


Washington, Oct 17 (IANS): NBA Oklahoma City Thunder's basketball star Kevin Durant has had surgery on his broken right foot.

The Thunder said Thursday that the four-time NBA scoring champion would be re-evaluated in six weeks, reports Xinhua.

Durant said he had an aching pain in the foot last, and an examination revealed a broken bone at the base of the small toe.

Durant averaged 32 points, 7.4 rebounds and 5.5 assists a game last season.
