One held for killing Gurgaon ATM guard


Gurgaon, Sep 1 (IANS): A man was arrested Monday for killing a private security guard deployed at an ATM booth here when he tried to stop robbers from looting the booth, police said.

Ravi Kumar, a 23-year-old unemployed youth from Daultabad village, was arrested for killing the guard and critically injuring another, a police officer said.

The incident took place in Daultabad Saturday.

Bhupender Kumar, who hails from Bihar's Oriya district, died while he was being taken to a hospital. The other guard, Ramprasad, was critically injured.

Ravi was arrested after analysing footage of the CCTV camera installed at the ATM booth.
