Solan HP, Sep 5: Accepting the sudden turn of destiny, young girl of Solan town of Himachal Pradesh, Yamini Sharma, on Monday announced her decision to work with renowned Bollywood director and producer Satish Kaushik in his new forthcoming Hindi movie. 

Sharma, who had recently joined MCM DAV College at Chandigarh after completing her schooling from local DAV School, was offered work by Kaushik for his forthcoming Hindi movie after seeing her photograph in a newspaper.

Sharma made the announcement in the presence of her parents, relatives, close friends and print and electronic media persons who had arrived here from Delhi and other parts of the country. 'I have decided to avail the opportunity by accepting the offer of Bollywood's top producer,'' announced an enthusiastic Sharma.

Yamini is the third girl from Himachal Pradesh who had been offered an opportunity by Bollywood Producer after Preity Zinta from Shimla and Kangna Rannaut from Mandi district. Sharma said she would soon be traveling to Mumbai along with her mother, Nisha Sharma, for undergoing a screen test. Replying to a question, she said she would never forget Himachal after settling down in Bollywood. On her clearing the screen test, she would work in Mr Kaushik's new film Tere Sang in which she would play the role of rich girl while the hero would play the role of poor boy.

Sharma said she was extremely happy for getting an opportunity to work for a Hindi movie, adding that her parents and relatives encouraged her to avail the opportunity. A fan of John Abraham, Bipasha Basu and Priety Zinta, Ms Sharma was hoping to succeed in Bollywood. 'I would leave no stone unturned to achieve the success and uphold the name of my family,' she said.

According to her school principal, though, Yamini never showed much inclination towards cultural activities during her school days but never withdrew herself from any cultural programme of the school. Terming her very cool, decent student, the principal hoped that her student would touch new heights. Her favourite movie is Rang De Basanti. 'After detailed discussions with relatives, and other friends we have decided to support our daughter,'' said an elated father Roshan Sharama and her mother Nisha Sharma.
