Donald Young reaches semifinals at Citi Open

Washington, Aug 2 (IANS): Local rising star Donald Young advanced to the semifinals at the Citi Open tennis tournament after beating seventh seed Kevin Anderson 3-6, 7-6 (3), 6-2.

The 23-year-old Young hadn't reached any ATP semifinals in the past three years, reports Xinhua.

The left-handed American won four matches in a row, including three victories against seeded players to reach the last four Friday.
