CWG badminton: Sindhu makes it a good day for India


Glasgow, Aug 1 (IANS): India's Pusarla Venkata Sindhu Thursday night joined Parupalli Kashyap, Rajah Menuri Venkata Gurusaidutt and Puthenpurayil Chandrika Thulasi in the quarterfinals of badminton competition at the Commonwealth Games here.

Sindhu beat Sri LankanA Thilini Hendahewa 21-14, 21-14 in barely 26 minutes in her round 16 match.
