Kings XI elect to field in IPL Qualifier 1

Kolkata, May 28 (IANS): Kings XI Punjab captain George Bailey won the toss and elected to field against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Qualifier 1 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Eden Gardens here Wednesday.

The game was pushed to Wednesday after heavy downpour lashed the ground Tuesday.

While the Punjab outfit fielded an unchanged XI, KKR made one change bringing in leggie Piyush Chawla in place of pacer Vinay Kumar.

Teams:
Kings XI Punjab: Virender Sehwag, Manan Vohra, Glenn Maxwell, Wriddhiman Saha, David Miller, George Bailey (captain), Akshar Patel, Mitchell Johnson, Rishi Dhawan, Karanveer Singh, Parvinder Awana.

Kolkata Knight Riders: Robin Uthappa, Gautam Gambhir (captain), Manish Pandey, Yusuf Pathan, Shakib Al Hasan, Ryan ten Doeschate, Suryakumar Yadav, Morne Morkel, Piyush Chawla, Umesh Yadav, Sunil Narine.
