Djokovic criticises Roland Garros organisers

Paris, May 27 (IANS/EFE): Novak Djokovic criticised the organisers at the Rolland Garros after his first round French Open tennis match was interrupted by rain for an hour and a half.

The Serb, World No.2, complained about the play court not being covered in order that the ground did not get wet due to the rain here Monday.

Djokovic, who beat Portuguese Joao Sousa, added that the court was not in a good condition after the rain stopped and it should have been covered to avoid spoiling the ground.

In the second round, Djokovic will play against Jeremy Chardy, who beat Spanish Daniel Gimeno-Traver.
